He's a good guy, one of the best. And he very much supports his local club - his family home is just up that hill behind the Sainsbury's end at Selhurst. There's no bad feeling between journos who support either club. Paul Newman of the Indy and the Sun's Neil Ashton are both pretty well-disposed towards us.

I don't want to grow up if it means I have to read the Times or the Telegraph.

And as for the Sun, when I was doing a Marketing qualification a few years ago, it was reckoned that the reading age of the average Sun reader was 7.

Going back to the Guardian, Times and Telegraph debate, I read all 3 online. And forgetting the content, there is no doubt that the Guardian website knocks all others into a cocked hat. IMHO.

These threads where people see themselves as far superior because they read a paper not connected with the Tories is side splitting. People read there own choice of newspapers get over it. For what it's worth guardian is a filthy socialist rag . Ok.

I agree with you that there's far too much newspaper snobbery around. I reserve my superiority in respect of knowing the difference between "their" and "there".
