Thank you Steve. I've been up since 5.30 absolutely flooded with adrenaline. I can't wait to join the proper ranks of NSC Marathoners.

Some good times today. Think the champers and red wines are well earned and deserved. Well done.

Bizarre number of trackie tops discarded at the side of the road before they'd even gone half a mile.

Not bizarre at all, quite normal. You have to lob your kit bag in the truck about 30 mins before the start (or longer), so most runners take something old to wear on the start line which they then chuck away as they start or soon after. It was chilly this morning - I wore an old tee shirt and an old trackie top which I discarded. The organisers collect them up and pass on to charities

3.54 for me, good first 20 or so then had a few cramp issues in my dodgy clf, but will happily take that after a rubbish month out with injuries and not being able to run for 10 mins less then 2 weeks ago

Great to see the NSC crew at the start and en route !

I'll balance it out by saying I had a shocker. Fine for the first 10, but something didn't feel right. I was gone by 16 and walked a bit of every mile after that. Couldn't get going again.

4.09.

I was going well but at 18 miles thought I should keep an eye out on the NSC train. Had to wait ages for them. Kept walking but they never arrived. Gave up in the end and found out most had finished half an hour ahead. Great to get support from 7:18, Wolf Harmonica, ultra Darren, Guiness Runner, Greg, Simgulls flag, friends, family, Ollie, Len Seagull and Tall Nuts at the start.

Another pw (personal worst) to add to the list. Great day boys. £20 is going to Guiness's REMF fundraising for what he has achieved and the other REMF Harmonica better turn up for the Phoenix 10k in July.

Well done to all other runners too.
