Apart from going for a few post-work beers and then a meal with the Frau I have **** all planned for the first time in months.....and it feels nice.

I guess some may be going to the parade thing.

Running 50 miles along the North Downs Way tomorrow. Sunday - probably not much. Undecided on the parade, will see how I feel.

I'm certain I know how I'd feel after 50 miles off road

Seriously though, good luck. I've done a 20 miler North Downs run myself; lovely surroundings.

Thanks - yes, seen some if it, will be nice to have a change from the SDW. There are a few very nasty climbs though

I was joking with my dad on the way home from the Villa game saying that, now the season is over, we probably wouldn't see each other for a couple of months!

I'm going to be watching the playoffs and going to the parade. Most of my Saturdays now will be spent going to the gym and getting the DIY done. YAWN. Roll on August.

A spot of gardening, a run (by run I probably mean brisk walk), watching some synchronsied swimming as part of the fringe and going to the parade. A full but leisurely paced and stress free weekend.

Working Saturday on a private gardening job then Sunday if the weather is good I'll be out on the Kayaks with mates for a paddle along the Adur then a few gentle Sunday pints with neighbour's on the riverside, home for a roast. Far away from all the hullabaloo in Brighton.

Family barbecue tomorrow afternoon, followed by future son-in-laws stag night in Brighton.

Heading for the Sussex on Hove seafront on Sunday lunchtime to watch some of the football, before mincing along the prom to the PROMOTION parade.
