I don't think our recruitment is poor. I was just listing some loan strikers.
Forgot Obika though. He wasn't brilliant.

Wilfried Bony available for around the same amount that Cardiff want for Zahore - far better goal record in Premier League and others, than Zahore's one good season in the Championship

No one would disagree with that.

But these things happen in football, so it's far from ideal for a promoted squad to be left with just days left and some fixtures gone, with only their Championship crocked or aged strikers.

Latterly the club seem willing to spend large sums, (in the face of NSC comments in May and June from some that they'd rather see us go down, than go bust in paying high transfer fees), so we now know that financial prudence wasn't necessarily the cause of months of no business on strikers.

36 goals in 100 premier league matches and 104 in 238 games is hardly **** , with 15 goals out of 50 Internationals, compared to Zahore's 13 goals in 33 for a Championship team.
Nobody knows if he is on 100K a week and what Swansea would offer him compared to what we would.
