Will we loan him out?
Would he still qualify as an under 21*(?) player, which are allowed in addition to the 25 man squad or is he too old now and therefore wont be involved and probably loaned out instead to gain extra experience
*Can't remember the cut off age where you can have an unlimited number of players involved who are under that age but only 25 over that age as a part of the squad

Cut off for this season is players born on or after 1st January 1997.
Viktor Gyökeres was born in June 1998 meaning he doesn’t have to be named in the 25 for the next 2 seasons.

Yep, the #28 shirt comment was not linked to the TH reference but can see how it would be misconstrued.
Also FWIW him being given 25 means diddlysquat and is in no way about TH being a legend or a sign he’s def staying.
