Snow and heavy winds down in Ashford Kent ,left at 5.30 took 2 hours to get there . Went to the caff turned round and came home.

Heavy rain, with some snow mixed in, with high winds just down the road in Folkestone. Only took a few extra minutes to drive in from New Romney this morning.

Not much use really other than to show lack of visibility. Can usually see the Shard from here (5 miles away) but can barely see 100 yards.

Snowmagedden. How are 100,000's of commuters going to get home tonight with this mother of all blizzards?
Should be OK. The early leavers and other assorted shirkers have already started mumbling about 'rail chaos' and 'might need to get away soon' so I'm expecting an easier journey than normal.
