We are too busy maintaining 0 against,to allow much time for scoring goals......For all i know this might well be the right tactics,by the end of the season.

Our strike force has shown that it isnt good enough to secure the wins needed to stay up as inevitably we will concede some more silly goals.

Outside of the top six, only Everton and Leicester have strikers who have scored more goals than Glenn Murray this season:

Leicester are the only team outside of the top six that has any players with more assists than Pascal Gross:

Gross has also scored 4 goals.

We are not scoring enough goals as a team and we need recruits to challenge for places, but let's not slag off players who are performing above most pundit's expectations.

Yes - I made this point on another thread a while ago. The other thing is that Murray's 'minutes per goal' is pretty good as well - as is his percentage of shots on target. Trouble is, he can't play all the minutes anymore, so we can't make best use of that. The main problem, as you say, is the back up scorers.

My god! Dropping into this conversation is like listening into the dullest conversation between 2 bored, half asleep fans at 2 oclock in the morning, somewhere on the M6 travelling back from Carlisle!
