WTF is wrong with you, you masochistic nutter?

It is a very small part of me. The rest wants to see it done and dusted very quickly. :bigwave:

Find me an example. Something even close to the complete catastrophe of a team in our position messing it up now. I'm intrigued. Has it ever happened?
Man U were 8 points ahead of City with 6 to play, and they blew it.
Liverpool were 5 points ahead of City with 3 games to go, and blew it.

If Huddersfield win their games in hand, we'll be 6 ahead with 6 to play.

Goodnight chums.

Perhaps I'll be more pessimistic in the morning.

(I doubt it, it's done).

No it's not mathematically certain yet and won't be for a while.

Realistically Huddersfield have to go out to win every game now.
In theory they could afford to lose a couple, but that would leave us needing just a point a game to secure promotion.
Their remaining home games are: Norwich, Preston, Fulham.

If Huddersfield fail to win tomorrow, then mentally, they will be preparing for the play offs.
If they aren't already.

Its not actually done yet.........

but it's done.

Who?

I'm talking about us. It's time to celebrate, even we can't mess it up from here. Seriously, we cant.

I hear your message and tend to agree. But let's all celebrate together, as a collective, let's keep our powder dry and let them have it all at once, it will make a much bigger noise! I suggest Wigan at home?

I want to be excited. I want to join in with all the joy and merriment.

But something inside of me just refuses to, until it's mathematically certain. This is one hell of a weird league, so I don't want to get too excited until we're there.

Absolutely. Just one game at a time. Grind it out. It is never done until it's done.

Far from done. We can easily lose at QPR and Huddersfield can win their next two and it's looking wide open again.

If we in at QPR it is over though, or a draw if Huddersfield can max of 3 points from next 2.

Imagine if we were in 3rd place, 12 points behind Huddersfield. We'd be saying it's done. It's done.

This. Having been on the Huddersfield forum, pretty much to a man they are all accepting its over. They're far more busy looking over their shoulders than at us.

I'll continue to take it one game at a time thanks very much, until we don't have to anymore. It'll make any potential celebrations all the sweeter.
No, no it won't. It won't make any difference. Commander is right, promotion beckons and we're pretty much there already.

Judging by the amount of tourists there last night they agree with the OP Idiots behind me firstly asking each other how long do we get at the break and I can't wait to see Man Utd and the worse one tapping me on the shoulder when we scored asking me to sit down, f.cking sit down he was lucky I didn't put one on him

This time last week I was really worried about us blowing it, now I am starting to worry about whether I'll be able to get tickets for trips to Arsenal, West Ham etc. This re-direction of anxiety could be viewed as positive.

Still a long way to go but the joy of 1979 could soon be repeated .
