What’s it called? Cumbernauld
Great for the neutral pi55 poor for us that are in it I still believe we are better than 4-5 teams around us but those results today were definitely not needed. So it’s dig in time and hope our collective team spirit will see us past some very good sides and if luck plays a role at all we are due a nice slice of it

Update 1:
In their final 11 fixtures, Southampton have just 4 more home ones against Stoke, Chelsea, Bournemouth and Man City.
If they don't win against Stoke and Bournemouth, they're going to have to pick up some serious away points.

Imagine going into the final day with 6 or 7 clubs still potential relegation fodder, it could happen couldn’t it?

I managed to find the league table giving the breakdown of home and away form. We are 14th in the table for home games, and 15th for away games.
Southampton are 19th for home games but 12th for away games. Huddersfield are almost the reverse 11th at home but 18th away.

Are Burnley out of trouble? No wins in 9? The real losers this weekend have been Stoke and Southampton, who failed to win home games. Palace too. Okay, so we only got a point, but it was away from home against a rival and we had the morale boosts of Ryan, Dunk and Knockaert saves. So not quite the weekend we’d have liked, but it could have been worse, and we can hope that Chelsea grab at least a point at home to West Brom, unlikely as that has become recently ...

Only 1 of Southamptons away games are against top 6 opposition and 3 are against teams within 3 points of them at the bottom. In fact only 3 of their remaining games are against top 6 compared to 5 of ours! Id be feeling pretty bullish from their position.

Agree. Very winnable away games they have especially if they get Charlie Austin fit. It really isn't looking good for us now. Our remaining fixtures will haunt us plus all the draws.

Swansea is an absolute must win. We then must beat Hudd's and one of Leicester home, Palace, or Burnley away. Really cant see much more than one or two points from all the others. We've got the worst run in by far imo.

I'm sure there are always a few more surprise results in the second half of the season as those at the wrong end of the season start scrapping for their survival. Given that we seem to have a little more attacking mojo now there's every reason to hope we might spring a surprise of our own, perhaps two.

We're due something from one of the games against the top six. Everybody else seems to be able to do it.
