Most passes in the league means nothing. Steve Thomson (Scottish midfielder) must've had a 97% pass success rate for us at the Withdean. The problem was, only about 2% of those passes were played forward.
I'm not saying Gross is rubbish, I just think we should wait till he's played a game for us before we start labelling him a great signing.

I agree 100%

I am not getting caught up in the Euphoria that he is a great player because I haven't seen him play; however, he will have been bought with a vision as to what his role will be and where he will fit in based on the players that are anticipated to be around him. There will be a plan as to what he will bring to a ''squad of players'' - So because of that I am confident it will be a decent signing

Very true but the fact he has created more chances than anyone else in the league suggests that he is passing forwards rather than tapping it the side and back.

I agree that we shouldn't get too excited until he plays for us (and more than one game!) but on paper I think this looks like a decent signing.

Just watching this now after seeing your post.

That first game RB Leipzig 4-5 Bayern Munich was amazing.
The Bremen v Hoffenheim game was a bit nuts too, worth catching.

True.

The atmosphere in the stadiums is what stands out for me - very colourful and noisy.
Yep, love the German leagues, lost count of how many trips I've done over the past 5 years or so.

Also, the Albion emblem is still proudly on display at Leverkusen!

My lad just searched for him on his Fifa career. He discovered he was now at palace so it's a NO for me. Sounded promising too. Darn it.

Down injured and limping heavily.
That was inevitable.

No, you were just hoping it would happen to justify your earlier comment wrongly assuming he wouldn't play. Playing up to your "Captain Hindsight" user title.
