Is it " One Man Went to War" because the rest haven't done their homework, so their Mums won't let them out to play,

I would have said their Dads but I doubt if their Mums know who they are.

I believe it is 'one man' because the rest of the ultras have gone back to their first love Spurs, now that extra seats are available at Wembley next season?

I am expecting the newspapers and TV to be baffled and patronising about our rivalry.[/QUOTE]

I reckon if they follow twitter etc as the games approach--they might not get it but there will be no denying it
both games on telly with heavy use of the silent button to cut out fans songs
such as Monday when Watford sang how shit must you be we just scored away !---cut out just after the word shit

Have they not noticed that we've already played them six times since we moved to the Amex? Nobs.

Ironic really, the child who posted this probably only started going to Selhurst when they got promoted.

Bit of a 'where are they now' moment. Ever wondered what happened to the ugly banjo inbred from 'Deliverance'?

I always seem to get the feeling that Palace fans hate us more than we hate them. I'm too young for the origin of the rivalry (just) and my dislike for Palace is almost completely for non-football reasons, i.e. not paying their debts / shafting local businesses, their fans almost to a man being berks, and Alan Pardew.

I really only tend to pay attention when they're in our division, getting relegated, or pre-booking a parade for winning the FA Cup (which they didn't).

To be clear though, I LOVE the fact that we're in the same division again. Should make for two cracking derbies this season.

They seem to do stuff on twatter that makes me laugh more than ever be nervous or impressed etc. Brings #cringe to a whole 'nother level. I know it's not all their fans that are like that just the kids but they always look like they're playing dress up or trying to copy other teams. Like that one kid at school that everyone hated and wouldn't shut up but never said a single thing of note.

I find it hilarious they use this you have only had fans since you moved into a shiny new stadium argument, have they seen what the average gate at Selhurt does when they don't play in the top division?
They need Groupon deals n the Championship, if they ever moved to a shitty athletics track I doubt they could even give tickets away.

I don't understand why this is a shock to anyone. Every team in the country (including Palace and Brighton) have a significant number of "plastic" fans who will only attend when things are going well. Thousands of people didn't want to go to the Withdean because it was an absolute sh*thole. Thousands of people weren't interested in watching Palace vs Scunthorpe in the Championship in 2008. Of course there's a significant section of more dedicated and permanent supporters who will go every season regardless of where or who we're playing, but it's silly to suggest that either club could fill a stadium with these people alone.

So, why do Palace fans continue to use this argument against Brighton fans when your club does EXACTLY the same? If anything you make yourselves look even more stupid as our average home crowds in the Championship exceed yours.
