Only got 3 categories left if my maths is correct, and the hardest one I have left was "#15 - Has scored in a Manchester, Merseyside or North London Derby." so I've got this covered ASAP

He might be a sicknote, but I'll take the risk.

Jamie Redknapp

My next pick will give my squad the ability to toughen up in midfield and stifle the opposition if needs be; he became Alex Ferguson's go-to midfielder for any big game.

When he was suspended for the Champions League final against Barcelona in 2009, Jose Mourinho said "His work in midfield, especially in the midfield 'wars', in crucial matches is very important. Man United will miss his pace and aggression in defensive actions: he 'eats' opponents in defensive transition."

It is, of course, former Man United vice-captain and current captain of West Brom and Scotland, Darren Fletcher

I was about to pick Heskey. Bugger.

He was a very good player at Leicester and Liverpool.

Went downhill somewhat at Villa and Birmingham, and one of those players that you can never quite understand how he got as far as he did, but he's part of team Worthingite, and a welcome addition at that. Gives me options and alternatives

I don't know how I'd feel buying condoms that were only one letter away from saying tiny on them.

Don't think there are many better hold-up men in this draft. He chipped in with goals on a decent enough basis at his first two clubs (well 1 in 4) but the amount of assists he would be have been responsible is probably higher than the amount of goals he scored himself. A very useful addition.

Need to add some pace to the squad, surprisingly there are a number of great wingers still available, this fella gets the nod as he can fill in up top or wide allowing me to change formations to suit opposition.

The Latvian Michael Owen.......it's Marian Pahars!

My next pick is a lethal striker who has a Premier League record of 1 goal in just under every 140 minutes, puttin ghim in the top 10 lethal strikers in Premier League history.

During the 2011–12 Premier League season, he scored four goals in one game for Manchester City, completing a "perfect hat-trick" against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane. On the final day of that season, he scored an equaliser against Queens Park Rangers in the 92nd minute, before Sergio Agüero won it for City with seconds to go, ensuring the team won a league title for the first time in 44 years. - He later stated that the goal was one of the most important of his career.

With 50 goals in 125 games, my next pick is:

Can't always be sure with these foreign chappies and their peculiar names but don't think he's been picked yet:
  • Current player
  • Over 50 Brazilian caps
  • Deffo cost a bob or two

Team Shug's lightweight box-to-box dynamo is ...

HIs Premier League record is 29 games for Forest, 7 goals but could be a good pick for a couple of the more tricky categories

To be honest I picked him more for the name and reputation, some people seem to be choosing players based on this rather than actuall PL record.
