You'd have such a better time spending 22 quid in a Cave au Fromage, five minutes walk from Hove Lawns.

And they have cured meats.

A lot of these food festivals seem to follow the same model. Charge top whack to get in. Then charge top whack again for everything in there. Have little in the way of small taster foods / samples so you have buy, say, a whole burger or pie or whatever, by which time you are full and then the other stalls are no good to you. Went to the BBC Good Food one at Hampton Court Last Christmas which was along those lines.
