Time for another GIANT banner at The Amex?

We met with the club over the summer and were told that they would contribute towards a number of giant flags for different areas of the stadium. One for fans to hold up/pass around, one to be placed over seats (attendance depending) and potentially more for pitch side. These will be a mixture of fan designed and bhafc club logo designs etc

The issue of the stadium being cleaned and stripped of all banners for the rugby world cup was discussed. Everything is being removed for the rugby world cup so nothing was going to happen before that.

The club are willing to engage with fans on more semi permanent banners after the world cup. The Stand or Fall banner could go back or we could print a very similar banner (same design) that better fills/maximises the space (to the left/west side). This would be our preference (essentially a bigger Stand or Fall banner to better fill the space).

In addition the other spaces in the north stand could also be fitted with semi permanent banners (WE WUNT BE DRUV, BHAFC?). The club are up for this and have given their support. We are currently awaiting the exact measurements of the areas in question and then the designers can get to work. Feel free to get in touch with ideas.

The money raised (circa £1250) can be used to print these new semi permanent banners and potentially chip into the money provided by the club for the giant flags (as above). Apologies to all the delay on this.

The club are also up for engaging with fans to do mosaics (like Saturday's). We're keen to do more of these in different areas. Again the money is there to do these.

We're meeting with the club again in the next couple of weeks and will post an update soon.

Get in touch with any ideas via twitter or better still come over for a chat.

Sounds like a lot of hard work has gone into it.

Excellent, thank you for the update. Like the idea of a bigger stand or fall banner, I assume the current one can go somewhere else in the ground.
