With 3 at the back not working defensively but a lot of positives going forward why not 4-3-3?

Bong and the hound/Bruno wingbacks
Dale/Propper/Kayal in the middle - gross dropping in when subs come on
Front 3 of any of Jurgen / Gross / Solly / Jose / knocky / Murray

Can’t believe this hasn’t been thought of in football before...

I think playing three in the middle is important as it gives you defensive cover and allows attack minded midfielders like Propper to get forward if the other centre midfielders do their defensive duties. However, I still think playing a variation of 3-5-2/ 5-3-2/ 5-2-3/ 5-2-2-1/ 3-4-2-1(or whatever variation of numbers you want to use...) is worth trying against teams that aren’t as good at Chelsea. I’d like Chris to stick with it for our game against Southampton at least.

Can’t believe this hasn’t been thought of in football before...
Always the problem with that system is the central striker gets isolated unless the wingers are natural goal predators which ours aren’t
