Good to put some faces to names today.

Been waiting for my result to be sent through and got nothing... Just checked and both me and my son are down as unknown [emoji19].

They must have had a dodgy scanner. Can get it updated retrospectively anyone know?

Yeaf def email them, should be ok, especially if you know where you finished - they'll fill in the blanks. Good to meet you .

Ran a 17:59 at parkrun yesterday morning on very tired legs. I played a casual game of football the night before, which I haven't done for a while. Safe to say with the strain that put on leg muscles I haven't had to use in a while, and the fact my legs are still recovering from the half last weekend, it was never going to be easy. Still, I'm happy with the time considering I know I can push harder when I'm more well-rested again. I'm supposed to be filling in for a mates Sunday league team today, which probably isn't the smartest idea with the muscle tightness, but runners are anything but rational. It took a lot of self-restraint not to go out for an easy paced long run this morning [emoji38]ol:
On tired legs?! What's your best? Where did you run the 17:59? Outstanding pace!

I managed a 20:10 on the Prom, I was feeling the effects of wine and cider and couldn't open up any more than I did. Ankle feels better but not resolved so I'm debating whether I step out for some milage today or not.

I've verified the run in Perth. U-14 well done Capricorn and will update the table. Mo's out and Curious Orange is pushed into second place. Garry Nelson's teacher loses his coveted AG position. My King of PB's 17: 45 is under threat. If Capricorn goes under 17:45 we may have ask for proof of being an Albion fan! but happy to move curious and GNT down a notch. I'll also adjust The Complete Badger s time and Seaford by the sea .

9 pints, your pace must have slowed, lol, I think you were on your 7th when I saw you around 8pm.

I spoke to yesterday's Run Director this morning. She said there had nt been any known issues with the scanners or results but if you email then they will update them retrospectively.

Thanks Simgull, sent email this morning. We both know our finishing positions so fingers crossed.

I stopped my watch late, but according to my Strava I was 21:31 - a few seconds shy of my PB, but my son knocked quite a bit of his so would like it recorded if poss.

Finished my full triathlon with a 6:03 marathon. Back to sensible running now

Sounds to me like you're being bashful. A full Triathlon has a 10k and is very doable. Sounds to me that you did an Ironman. Well done, excellent effort. I'll put you in the nutters group with the Ultra runners.

I did the Dartford Midnight Man 3.8k open water swim, 180k bike ride, marathon, starting 6 p.m. Saturday, finishing 9:30 a.m Sunday. On reflection I can see "nutter" being an appropriate description.

I'm pretty sure there is less gravity in Australia and so Capricorn had an unfair advantage when posting such a ludicrously fast time... or something...

Yes - I had an email back from PR & the confirmation late last night. (surprised I got a response Sunday evening - do they not rest?)

Ahead of you now, but I think I may have peaked - I went for it and couldn't break my record. Are there any downhill PRs ? ???

Will be staying over in Leicester on Friday night prior to the match. Thinking of starting the day on Saturday with an auspicious ParkRun in Victoria Park, Leicester. Anyone else planning to fly the Albion flag?

Don't think so, sadly. But Hove Park is still the quickest course in the area...

Just looked at the table – I don't think I'm moving anywhere soon. I'll just aim for a time improvement and go from there!

I might be able to help you move somewhere in a couple of weeks.....Down the table!.....I'll be in Folkestone and aiming at your SB on a flat tarmac course with 2 laps but with wide turning points. http://www.parkrun.org.uk/folkestone/course/

Everyone above you and, I'm sure you as well, are safe for this year but I'll give it a go. 6:59 mile pace needed.
