West Ham v Watford is quite a big fixture.

A home win would bring Watford back into the scrap. An away win would put West Ham in trouble and would see us leap frog them if we win today.

But as ever with these fixtures, I think we should be hoping for a draw.

I have got a nagging feeling West Ham are going to win? https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1190415/Preview/England-Premier-League-2017-2018-West-Ham-Watford

If results diabolical, lots of clubs could be on 27 points at the end of the weekend. Not Newcastle though.

Interesting stat from that table - only 3 teams have lost the majority of their games.

12th per my opening post, is likely the best we can hope for, as West Ham and Watford are playing each other.

We'd need a +7 GD swing to get above Watford. For that to happen it would likely mean West Ham have put a few past them which would also keep West Ham ahead of us too. The only way we could be 11th is if we put a lot past Stoke and West Ham beat Watford by a single goal.

Why are you letting mere technicalities get in the way of accuracy Bozza? :lolol:

Four away wins in a row please.

Our fixtures or the upcoming four fixtures in the PL? If the latter then you'd be wanting Pardew Albion to beat Chelsea, not something I'd entertain. If the former, imagine the scenes if we were the catalyst for the biggest PL title bottlejob in the history of the league by scraping a win against obviously the best team the world has ever seen.

No. Three games tomorrow, and one on Monday.

I hope Smug Eddie is going to be exceedingly smug after his game today.
