Ours looked like this, three months (April 15th), before the ramp-up events.
The pitch had been sown, a few more seats to put in, and various internal works still to do.

There was never any doubt Buckingham were going to finish the job on time and on budget, they did a great job from start to finish.

This Spurs build has been complicated by the fact that part of the old WHL encroached on the footprint of the new one, so they had to spend last season building around that part. Its also twice the size of the Amex, and they've got to install a hydraulic retractable pitch. Current PL rules do not allow clubs to start a season at one venue and then switch to another, so unless Daniel Levy can weasel his way around that, they could well be back at Wembley for 2018-19.

We have 2200 workers on site 24 hours a day.

We might have to play our first few games away from home but the stadium will be ready for next season.

oh god I used to love these updates, every friday logging in continually to get the photos, watching lobstercam constantly refreshing to see what has changed in the last 15 minutes. It was such a high point

We will likely play our first 6 matches (or whatever the maximum permitted is) away, ie, at the home teams ground.

They flip the fixtures round, eg if we were scheduled to play away at Spurs on the opening day, they'd reschedule it for the Amex instead, and we'd have the away fixture there later in the season.

(that'd play havoc with Pride, mind).

It can't be as simple as that due to policing etc. As they'd end up at home the same time as Arsenal.

They still seem to think that it will just be the Fulham game that this is for, with the opening match being Liverpool in mid-September.

Something odd is afoot at Spuds at the moment...

Surely they can't play some at Wembley, and some at the new ground?

It looks like it's nowhere nearly ready.

I had a fair bit of faith that they knew what they were doing, but no, it seems that those who thought they had no chance of being ready were right.
