So you think we are nearly there with our incoming transfers. I got the impression Tau would be competition for Gross.and we really need more competition for Propper and Stephens hence Bernando. If we are still after Moore then we have a very competitive defence.

I think 5. We now have 25 players but two goalkeepers.
Towell - GK, homegrown
Norwood - defensive midfielder / centre back
Skalák - a flair midfielder
Hemed - younger Murray type or a Jonathan Kodjia type
Baldock - South African guy

I think if we signed 6 - towell, Norwood, Skalak, Hemed, and Baldock would all have to go. I think 1-2 will stay. (Baldock or Hemed)

Think Moore will be for 10 mill with add ons.
Button 4 mill
CM will be pricey.. Yves Bissnger 15 mill
Winger...Jahankbash 20 mill
Tau 4 mill
add that to what has been spent already..(15 mill ish) means outlay of nearly 70 mill
Still be profitable.........
If that were the case and assuming 4 year contracts then that would be £17.5m amortisation cost per year on those players. Doesn't sound so bad then. I doubt we'll spend that much though.

That seems a few pounds beyond us, with the signing on fees for Andone and Balogun, plus Groß's new contract and perhaps a new one for Dunk.
I suspect our bid for Carson was about reducing the £4 million for Button, and I'm not sure we can afford both of the expensive ones above at those prices.
Any incoming fees of course help.

we spent close to 60 mill last year!
Wow if we spend £70m we are going to have to be careful in a season or two. We spent about £65m last season.
