:shrug: Aren’t the Labour Party saying they will stay in the customs union and common market, thereby proving that their historical economic incompetence is final being banished. Maybe. And the Lib Dem’s will have us back in. The Tories are split in multiple pieces. All good news.

Depends on which one of them you talk too .. or which day of the week it is. As you pointed out previously the Tories are mainly interested in self-preservation, reneging on Brexit commitments would lead to immediate implosion of the party.

There is no way she or the (pro remain) Chancellor could go back on their statements/ manifesto commitments and retain any credibility plus Boris, Gove, Fox, Davis are standing behind her with a gun to her head, none of them would accept membership of the single market, customs union. Yes a vote where the options are accept the deal or crash out without one.

I’m not suggesting they will necessarily u-turn on their manifesto commitments in person . But surely you understand how parliament works and they need to get parliamentary approval to pass these commitments into action? Put simply whatever those people you list want can get defeated in parliament.

Not really - I don't think I'm her type as I'm one of her constituents - We're on drugs and benefits according to her among other things - Plus as Home Secretary I'm sure it'd be prudent to use privileges available to such an office of state and do a DBS check on any potential suitor - You never know what one of them may find from the dim and distant past.....................:rolleyes:

I have absolutely no doubt a company specialising in merger and acquisition will want to be based in London. I’m sure there will be plenty of vultures circling over The City needing help with picking up companies at rock bottom prices. You go where the work is.

This. When an economy or market is in trouble there will always be organisations and individuals that profit from it. I see no difference why this should be any different just because it's Brexit thats causing the downturn.
Some people will become very rich from Brexit. Bob from Burnley will not be one of them.

Almost? They are identical. Corbyn wants the same as the right wing Tories (and UKIP), just for different reasons. Neither will be getting my vote at the next election (if their position remains the same).
