We didn't pay £30K for Wardy. I thought it was more like £3K, but the sources I can find on line (the official Albion site and Wiki) state it was £4K.

All great players have to start somewhere the recruitment team must think he can adapt if he kept up his ratio in the PL he will be worth millions.

I hope that isn't a suggestion that we should put a bid in. Club needs to be setting its sights far higher than Vydra.
