Livery quite close. Thick billowing black smoke blowing north thankfully. Think possibly redundant school buildings by the park

Just took a look outside no sign of smoke etc but I'm north west of the area of the fire.

Just got back from the scene, its an old abandoned school apparently where the local yoofs normally hang out, was due to be demolished in July.

This fire reminded me of the very narrow escape the school had in 1956 when the Vickers Valiant bomber crashed on Southwick Recreation Ground. There are witness accounts in the following link including two of the pupils at that time.
