My son is on holiday atm, I will get him to ask Harrison when he comes back. Harrison is highly thought of by Koeman, I suppose getting from Findon across Worthing to the training ground will be easier.

This would be an HORRIFIC loan signing.

He plays a year below Forster-Caskey in the England age-groups set up, in exactly the same position, with less success. He was far from a stand out performer in the Toulon games, and overall is no better a prospect.

Policy simply MUST be to develop our own young players over somebody else's, unless they are going to very significantly improve our side. Reed won't.

I would beg to differ as JFC, Reed & Ince are in fact very very different types of players.

JFC prefers to be an attacking midfielder but who has been played out of position at club level.

Harrison Reed is a holding / terrier type of midfielder comparable to Liam Bridcutt/Dennis Wise/Charlie Oatway.

I also think you're wrong about holding back Ince, as many at the club think his future is as a centre back which is his natural position. He has unfortunately been shoehorned into the midfield role because we've never replaced Bridcutt.

I would be staggered if we had designs on Ince reverting to centre half. He cant head the ball, still dives in a bit too much which would be a really big problem at centre half.

Coming along micely in midfield for me.

Let's hope many at the club aren't decision makers as that's a rubbish suggestion. He's class in midfield

I respectfully suggest that you watch the England U21s tonight and in the Euros to understand his best role.

JFC, Ince, Holla, Kayal, Stephens, Crofts. Do we really need ANOTHER holding midfielder? Would rather give one of our DS lads a chance, Rea in particular as he now plays as a holding midfielder.

You are right, we don't.

We also don't know if any of the above ( except Kayal ) are not in Hughton's plans.

Absolutely right. In England U21 regular Forster-Caskey, Rohan Ince and Ireland U21 captain Glen Rea, we have three young centre midfielders who are all developing very well, and who all now need GAMES to progress. If we were to bring in another club's 'prospect' in that position, and give them game time instead, then I would seriously question the decision makers at the club.

Who at the club has said he was being looked at as a CB. You are talking plop and pure speculation.

Come back to me at the end of next season[/QUOTE

I imagine he'd be a bit like Eric Young. In fact I'd like to see Ince given a run out in pre season as a CB as we have enough midfielders and may be signing more. Midfield is one position where we do already have a bit of quality imo.

he's going to be one of those players that we're constantly linked with because he's local isn't he?
