not the right answer. the people involved/responsible should have been looking at/for replacments for the previous fecking 6 months.

There's another thread started from Leicester's first approach in May.

I can only see one of 3 things happening, none are particularly palatable:-

- TB never thought anyone would match the asking price, so didn't instruct Burker to look.
- Burker couldn't get anyone else to replace Leo.
- Burker wanted Baldock as Leo's replacement.

With that in mind I can't help but feel sorry for Sami.

Who knows maybe THE replacement will arrive 01.01.15.

Baldock was the replacement. He's in our top 5 transfer fees as a club, perhaps even number 3 behind CMS and Ulloa.

Any striker coming into the club would have that transfer tag, unless on a free, that's just the nature of the business.

If he helps keep them up then possibly so. I suspect that they will be down with or without him and if he scores 10-12 goals he was over-priced. That's what happens when you purchase from a club that didn't need to sell.
