REMF 6 planning is underway. We feel it is best to keep the game to a smaller venue again than the Withdean and will not be asking to host it there unless people strongly want us to. We feel Southwick was perfect as a venue and would like to ask them again but also Lewes has been thrown into the pot. As this is a community event please let me know what your feelings are on the matter and I will have to try and book the pitch shortly.

Thanks.

Lewes is better as a venue but is it not out of the way for both Brighton and Palace a bit ???

I reckon that would be excellent if it could be organised.

Hopefully a better crowd would be generated too considering the amount of pubs in the area...

Although you'd be less likely to get penalties which hit a hole in the ground and bounce over the keepers head....

:lolol:

Lewes is on the mainline London - Eastbourne, so a bit easier for Palace by train. Also it's not that far from the A27 so again quite easy to get to by car.

Also as I would travel from Seaford it would make life a lot easier for me (as a spectator) as well.

As an aside, wouldn't it look fantastic that BHA fans are playing in Lewes (home of the endangered NIMBY) to raise money for charity. Could really try to work the press on this one...
