We held the second Robert Eaton Memorial Fund golf day, last Friday at Hassocks golf club. I am delighted to report that the Brighton & Hove Albion supporters beat the Crystal Palace supporters again to retain the trophy for this year.

It was a great day when 30 blokes of different football persuasions got together for a good cause. The CPFC lads are a credit to themselves and their club and a special mention to Kevin Risby ( Remf CPFC winning captain ) and Tony ( Woodingdean gull ) for all their hard efforts.

Douglas and Laura Eaton, Roberts parents presented the trophies at the end.

We raised a profit for the fund of £ 237.00.

Thanks to everyone for making the day so special. See you next year. I thought this deserved to be posted on the main board.

Yeah well done everybody, I find it really hard to 'hate' Palace when there's people like Mr Risby supporting them. Maybe we should scrap the REMF football match and just play them at golf?
