For those that were actually there did anybody actually say well done mate ? Because the highlights I’ve seen and the MOTD debacle that concluded that Man Utd won 2-1 v nobody show nothing of poor Pascals vain attempt to try to convince his teammates that he actually scored, he even tried raising his arms in the air in a look at me type of way suggesting to the camera man spare a thought for being a player in a #teamlikeBrighton

It was a strange celebration, it looked like he was running back to get on with it and then remembered that maybe he should do something

Bit of an old-fashioned solo, understated "arms in the air" celebration. Probably bored with scoring against Man U.

I was there and of course celebrated but watching it on the telly I thought it surprised him that it went in.

Didn't notice that at the time - but now you mention it, no-one seemed to congratulate him.

Can't help but notice that the goal game from:
- Stephens - forward pass
- Bong - pass inside, sensibly keeping possession rather than trying to cross which he's not so good at
- Propper - pass forward
- Locadia - decent lay-off
- Propper, great turn, and pass
- Gross - well taken actually - and in about the only place the keeper couldn't get to.

All of which have at some point been criticised here on NSC as being impossible?

From the highlights online he seemed to immediately wave his teammates back to our half, so we could kick-off and push for an equaliser. Then he thought about turning back and getting the ball, but soon changed his mind. Then on the way back he remembered he was supposed to celebrate and put his arms up.

It was the opposite of Sergei Gotsmanov celebrating before he scored.
