Really? Have you got the comparative figures to hand? We arrived in the Premier League with the nucleus of our team and stengthened. I believe they had to buy quite a few of the players who took them up which would have swallowed quite a bit?
I would be interested to see the overall spend of the two clubs since we were promoted though.

I normally read it as 'manager resigns' but club and manager agree conditions of release so both save face and can manage the PR plus agree whatever costs.
No manager wants quitting on their CV, but I think that's what it comes down to, same with Hyppia.

He's looked a beaten man recently, and in fairness they haven't had the major decisions go their way in the last couple of games. He can walk away thinking he's done as well as he could have. They'll struggle to get anyone decent in unless the Chairman guarantees them a season to get them back up from the almost inevitable relegation.

They sprung a surprise in appointing Wagner in the first place- and his success has resulted in other little known central European coaches coming over, like Farke and Hasenhüttl. I guess they'll look for something similar, if they can persuade anybody to join their campaign that is.
