Until he was mentioned on here a few days ago I'd never really heard of Owen Jones. I've just watched This Week from last night after seeing this thread and even as a floating voter ( i.e. I'm left and right ) I think he's a jumped up little **** with his head so far up his own arse he can see his teeth. Spends ages, rightfully, attacking the far right but dismisses any issues with the far left with a single sentence that had few enough words you could count on two hands. Utter prick.
The devil whispered in my ear : "You're not strong enough to withstand the storm."
I whispered in the devils ear : " I am the storm."

I won't disagree, but Jones winds me up more, as it's people like him that make me unable to vote for the Labour Party. I'm waiting for a bunch of the more moderate labour MPs, and maybe even some centrist tories, to get together with the remnants of the Lib Dems and form a new centre left party that middle England can vote for.
You, me and plenty of others I'd have thought

I don't think Owen Jones tries to hide anything or presents politics shows where he should be neutral?
He is a childlike pseudo-intellectual looney who refuses to debate anybody politically opposed to him unless he plans on having a shouting match. He avoids anybody with any degree of expertise in any field from which he spouts fallacies and incoherent gibberish.

He loathes and abides Douglas Murray (hence the agenda against the Spectator which has been going on for a while) who has a vast degree more hands-on experience and knowledge than he does, because he doesn't like his point of view.

The only person I ever remember him debating in political oppostion without resorting to obfuscating and interruption is Peter Hitchens, and god knows where he lies on the political spectrum nowadays bearing in mind he thinks we're in the end times.

When talking haphazardly about Islam, he also failed to turn in for a panel with Ayaan Hirsi Ali, which is all the evidence you need.

I've also seen little evidence of attempts by Owen to intimidate or bully anyone.
He doesn't hide his views, but has a long history of open engagement and debate - as per this interview with UKIP's Carswell in 2015:

Jones totally owned Neil in that exchange. Good to see the odious Neil on the back foot.

Jones is a left wing commentator. Neill is a BBC journalist. If you can't see the difference, you've got a problem.
      Half measures availed us nothing.

Time to bring the photo out that Owen Jones wants removed from the internet

If he genuinely was on Rainbow, I would think so much more of him. A Bungled bit of Photoshop there.

This is an absurd comment he has written a series of well researched, cogent books, and videos about politics in the UK today where he discusses the views and politics of people with whom he disagrees, for excample "The Establishment", and "Chavs" . He of course comes to his own conclusions from a socialist perspective but to describe him as childlike and pseudo intellectual (whatever that means) is ridiculous.

Both Owen Jones and Andrew Neil are awful.
      Why is Andrew Neil awful?
"I wasted 100 on a hotel room, another 100 on drink, whole weekend a complete waste of money, all in all the worst away day iv'e ever had ever. i can handle wasting good money, but seeing palace players getting laughed at by that lot, being laughed at as we leave the ground, that f***ing hurts, feel numb today, feel totaly numb with shock, going to take a long time to get over this one."
