Brexit at it's very worse.
Diane Abbott struggling but with a rabid audience.
Oakeshott is a prissy, stuck up little madam who is just as clueless and inflexible.
And to prove that I am not one sided there is something I like about the prisons minister, he made me listen as soon as he got the gig, low and behold we may have an honest as you can possibly get politician and a Tory one at that.
No doubt he will prove me wrong any time soon.

He's the guy who has promised to resign if Prisons don't improve. Quite refreshing in this day and age. As you say time will tell.

1. Fiona Bruce good again.
2. Diane Abbott remains a shambles.
3. Tory Minister Rory Stewart surprisingly plausible. Shows there is the odd decent Tory if you look hard enough.
4. Oakeshott her normal smug Hard Brexit self.
5. Derby - Home of Rolls Royce and Toyota - a city of turkeys voting for Christmas. Depressing to hear these fools. A world away from last week's London audience.

Rory Stewart seems to have integrity, and his candour is both refreshing and rare for a Government minister. He's also prepare to say unpopular things if he genuinely believes in them. He even seems to have won the respect of the organisations who's job it is to hold the Government to account on issues of criminal justice - Frances Crook from the Howard League has nothing but admiration for the work he has done at the Ministry of Justice.

That is spot on.
Regarding your last point. It never ceases to amaze me, the amount of people who listen to people on the panel who do know what they are talking about and still say "No we want a hard Brexit".
Last night's example was professor Anand Menon,who tried to spell out the problems, politely and calmly, that we will face with hard brexit. As far as I can see, he is impartial. He is against a second vote. He spelt out the real problems and members of the audience still said "No problem, we voted out". Why does the man in the street think he knows better than experts in the field and the majority of our MPs?

What's happened to her teeth? They seem to have turned into smashed China. That aside, she sounded even more mannered and odious than normal, like a drunk school dinner lady trying to sound posh and opine about things she barely understands, with weird random emphasis, facial expression changes and that. Frankly embarrassing. I think she's unwell.
As for the host... seems OK....no obvious ego issues.
Someone at the BBC clearly screwed up with their usual audience selection process

I just don't get it. Jezza keeps harping on about wanting a General Election, and in the same week....
Refuses to discuss Brexit with TM. (yeah he will if she discounts hard brexit, knowing full well it would be political suicide for her to agree to).
Allows DA , on her own, go on QT.
I would vote labour like a shot tomorrow. This is a dreadful Tory Govt but those two!!

He does raise some interesting points. I agree it's more about Britain than Europe itself. We want to leave but because it's not gong the way we want we blame Europe.

I actually thought there was some really good contributions from teh audience, at the risk of upsetting people, I thought the contribution from the Asian chap with glasses who ripped into the panel was brilliant.

Anyone who subjects themselves to QT every week should be sectioned for their own safety.
