The CP loan deal collapsed because Solanke is not match fit and has a minor muscle injury, whereas CP need to striker to start games immediately.

Makes sense. He’s not close to being match fit; hence no good on loan to Palace or anyone with only 17 games to go. He is however a great prospect for the future and we’ll need to replace Murray sooner or later.
My daffodils have started to poke through so close enough.

I've thought all along that Dan Ashworth is already working on signings even before he officially starts here. It would be odd if he didnt in my opinion

He's only 21. He won't want to come and play in our U23s for the next 18 months/2 years, will he? Suppose he could do a job if Connolly is going out on loan, though.

This all seems a bit far-fetched to me, but if there is any truth in it i'm pretty sure he'd want a guarantee of being heavily involved in the first-team squad. Which raises the question, who's place/s does he take in the match day squad?!
