He called May a " stupid woman"

That's a decent point. What has her sex / gender got to do with it?

The leader of a political party full of women referred to another leader of a political party full of women, inside parliament, as a "stupid woman".

Yes we can all show faux OUTRAGE, but this is actually a bit more serious than that.

Is it, though? She'll be 'outraged' of course, because it sidetracks from the actual important stuff, but is it really any kind of issue at all?

She proclaimed herself a 'bloody difficult woman'. - not a difficult person, nor a difficult politician. She thought her sex relevant in some way when it suited her. Why can't somebody else refer to her as a woman?

It's pretty clear he didn't say 'stupid woman'.

The first report decides, arbitrarily, that he said 'stupid woman', and the pitiful narrative runs from there. By all means, criticise his policies if you wish, but to lie about him says so much about the gullible people being easily being led by a salacious media. As many on here have been.

Please tell us your interpretation of his lip movements.

Interesting how that troll Bercow kept bringing the house into line for Corbyn but allowed complete abuse towards May.

I think JC is talking to the lady next to him it's his shopping list a Christmas supprise for his wife he saying and you don't get the whole conversation on the recording but he's saying he's going to get his wife a "Cupid woven" to hang onto their tree

Take another look at the VT and you can clearly see this is what is said

So it's ok for MP's to refer to her as a strong woman....but stupid woman is bad because it includes the word woman.

Is that right? Just checking I understand the rules.

The man lacks class and decency. Underneath that thinly veiled facade he is no better than those thugs who masquerade as those peaceful protesters know as militant tendency.

Keeping him as Leader of the Opposition, the Labour Party are playing into the Tories’ hands, as no credible opposition

Ably assisted by Dianne Abbot.
Surely she is better than a partly political broadcast for the Tories!

In her reply to the statement by the home secretary, she was reading her speech like a 7 year old who isn't a confident reader.
