Big fan of 60s TV. Danger man. The Saint. The Avengers. But even as a small child, I thought that TMFU stank to absolute high heaven. Is that fair, or am I being uncharatable to the charms of Ilya Kuryakin and that dreary other bloke

Whilst I will never agree with you on TMFU, this thread has certainly pulled together NSCers of a certain age.
It's actually later than I remember (1970-72) and ran for three series but what a great show it was - that and Catweazle were the only two programmes of my childhood that I really loved.
Saturday afternoons meant Bruce Boxleitner in Bring ‘em Back Alive.
