Loved his chats with players ..wasted as much time as the Chelsea goalie...inconsistent ..carded Andone, why not the hairy one? ..did he favour the big club?

Alonso should have already had two yellows by the time he elbowed Knocky (drawing blood) when he was lucky not to see red (unlike our French hero).

He eventually got a yellow but should have been off.

Other than that - he did ok.

Would love to hear him explain why both incidents involving Alonso didn't warrant a straight red, or two bookings at the very least.

Paid off, incompetent or just scared to give decisions against a big club?

First goal was offside IMHO as a Chelsea player was in front of Ryan therefore affecting his actions but thats more ref assistants area. Alonso should have been carded (red really) for elbow in Knockys face but again refs assistant should have made that apparent to the ref as in the best position. Alonso yellow card arguably red for clearly denying a clear chance at goal for March.

So just on those not the best game for the officials.

The linesman should have spoken up about that elbow. It happened right in front of him.
Chelsea got double the number of free kicks we did.
And how do you get a free kick taken for offside in your own half? Atteell watched Chelsea pick up the ball and throw it 10 yards over the halfway line.

Thought he had a shocking game all round and favoured them enormously in the second half

I thought this as Ryan dived because he thought Alonso, who was offside, was going to tap in. That’s 4 offside goals (including the penalty Leicester got) we’ve had against us in the last month.

When he gave the offside in our own half you knew we were onto a winner.

Really bad for both teams, marginally worse for us as Missed Luiz kick out and alonso should’ve either have been booked twice or potentially straight red.

Yep, you are right on the offside.

Hove (actually)
Having seen the replay I think the assistant has to flag and then let the ref make a decision as to whether he was interfering. Good case that he was, but we’d have been upset if it was given against us...

Alonso should've had 7 red cards.

I had the misfortune to follow the game on Chelsea TV, and even their biased commentators said he could have got three reds.

The Lino on the East Side looked like he'd been turned down for a role in Dad's Army, applied for a Sunday League job - then been shoved into a Premier League game.. He was shite.

The Ref spent most of his time arse-licking Chelsea players off the ball, having little chit-chats...

Poor.
