Agreed. I was chatting to the Italian Inter-supporting bloke behind the counter at my local PaddyPower yesterday who was incredibly bitter about this as he insisted Inter deserved to qualify more than Spurs.

I had to point out that not only did Spurs win head-to-head (on away goals) but Inter couldn't even beat PSV at home, unlike Spurs who when they found themselves a goal down to PSV then also found a way to win.

Who knew Italians football fans were as thick as some of our own?
