See what you mean. My Dad passed away on the 15th Dec last year. Very poignant. But it brings good memories back again. Thanks for sharing.

Why are Xmas ads designed to make us so sad and miserable these days? Bloody John Lewis has a lot to answer for, this now competition to see who can produce the most melancholy rather than merry advertisement. For goodness sake Britain, cheer up. As noddy would scream “It’s CHRISTMASSSS!”

Agreed. Also it's interesting the reactions that BBC one has produced. The first two posters in this thread think it's great, however in our house we all agree that it's a disgraceful cheap assault on the emotions of working mothers designed to make them feel bad that they don't just walk out of their jobs.
