[Albion] To the bell ends who booed Locadia when he came on

Have a word with yourself. He's still one of our players and booing him certainly isn't going to give him the motivation he needs to start scoring.

Are you surprised? Our own fans ‘booed’ Barnes before he took a penalty for us

It didn't take long before they got their comeuppance.

Problem is he is only let into the brothel when the tarts are on their way out of the door so of course he can’t score.

If he hadn't wanted the fans to turn on him then he shouldn't have gone to the Dutch press saying he wanted away. TBH, given his attitude, he seems to fail the no dickheads ruling so come Jan he can head off for pastures new.

It might be an unpopular view but I still have a feeling he has the attributes to be a good player. What he needs is an opportunity to play (that isn’t away to Man City) and maybe a bit of luck. I still feel like I’ve never really seen him play enough to form much of an opinion.

I don’t really understand why he gets so much grief on this site when we have three or four regulars who have played far more football than him this season and been well below par throughout without attracting anywhere near as much criticism.

Agreed. Give him a chance FFS.

He gets grief because he doesn't run around like a headless chicken. He does what Murray does and conserves his energy for when he has to run for or with the ball. Problem is so far he doesn't seem to be doing the later consistantly as seemed like his head had dropped or lacked motivation even before Andone jumped him in the pecking order and Glenn signed an extention.

He also seems to loose the ball sometimes (isolated from the rest of the team by 40 yards and against 2 opponents) instead of doing a Murray flop...... but I think some of his link up play has been decent. Reminds me more of Ulloa with a bit of pace rather than anyone else, which is very odd as he's played wide in a kind of Baldock role previously. He might just be a triangular peg in a system that currently plays with squares and circles. If he doesn't have patience this isn't going to work, as both he and the formation slowly shift naturally. But who knows, reports could be wrong or the environment at the club might suck him in. Other players seem to constantly post on social media, socialising with other players and family, yet he seems to be all about his music etc.

Fans don't like players whinging to the press. Uwe didn't get much game time apart from covering injuries and suspensions, but gave three years to this club without complaining.
I don't agree with booing but can see why some fans would.

Might get his chance if Murray’s injury yesterday is not minor

Everyone else gets 3 months off when they have the sniffles.
I fear Murray would get pushed out onto the pitch wearing a Sam Baldock Commemorative Full Body Cast.

Spot on.

No fans like a player who, to be fair, hasn't covered himself in glory going bleating to the press.

Uwe was a quality player who never really got the chances he deserved because of the CHs we had at the time but he was a model pro. Locadia could take a leaf or two from Uwe's book and get his head down and stop the pathetic whinging to the press.

I've been very negative regards Locadia's contributions to date. Notvery obvious strong attributes, and less than impressive effort levels at times.

Saturday though, as brief as it was, was unquestionably his best showing so far, IMO.

Perhaps getting his little whine off his chest, and maybe clear-the-air talks with CH, have had some impact, and things will improve from here.

Hope so.
