An awful lot. As good as this scene is I immediately thought of John Travolta and Uma Thurman in Jack Rabbit Slims and Amanda Plummer screaming in the diner at the start.
Also immediately thought of this, though more drinking and smoking going on than eating.

Love all of the film Big Night. My favourite film about food. Particularly love final scene where the two brothers cook a simple omelette together. Lovely end to a fine film.

I watched that, again, last night. Know it all too well, so will have to give it a miss for a few years!
The gratutitous violence of Joe Pesci's character was unpleasant to say the least. Based loosely on true events.

Me too.....I hate it when this film pops up when I’m channel surfing because I have to watch it. Mesmerising.
Thankfully I haven't come across The Godfather or any of the Bourne films for a while. Addictive.
