what3words uses a grid of the world made up of 57 trillion squares of 3 metres by 3 metres. Each square has been given a three-word English address

Sadly North.Stand.Chat doesn't feature, although pretty.pink.fairy is in Mexico.

weep.strut.groups is on the pitch at The Goldstone
steep.across.empty is pretty much the centre spot at Withdean.

This system is quite clever. Infact, the mongolian post office use so they can deliver their post. Very handy when such a high population are nomadic.

I use it just to show my location when I’m out an about trying to meet up with friends.

Excellent for marking those special fishing spots too.
