I believe this was a particularly tricky fixture to sort out due to a number of factors. The specific reason given for why the fixture couldn't be reversed is that it would have meant that Man City would have to play three consecutive away games later in the season which goes against the PL's fixture policy, not withstanding the fact that City would have been well within their rights not to agree to such an arrangement.

The fact that turning the stadium / pitch around inside 24 hours was the best available option (and evidently, it's still a poor one) tells you there weren't many choices available.

Man City took the lead in the first quarter after an 8 yard touchdown play by Mahrez.

Then Citeh should have been allowed to play this fixture at home and then play the reverse fixture at home too. In fact all teams playing Spurs between now and year end should now be allowed to decide where they want to play until the stadium is fit for purpose. Make Spurs pay for their ridiculous claims they'd be ready in September!

No blame on Daniel Levy then?

Clever move but don't you think those clubs that might be in the mix for the title might object if one of their rivals has two home fixtures against Spurs and they have to play away!

No ones really seen Levy at all since the summer unless it’s sucking off the NFL

Nobody seems to have pointed a finger at Sky yet. The game could have been re-arranged for later in the season but Sky insisted on live coverage of this fixture this weekend rather than pick another game once it became known that it couldn't be played on Sunday.
England are still the only team to have won the World Cup wearing red shirts.
