I once went on a stag do and we played paintball, as you do and I personally can't stand. The best man - in his wisdom - organised a stripper to appear at the end of our kicking against a bunch of TA soldiers where we watched some poor cow take her kit off to no music, a bunch of bruised, pissed off blokes and a stag who looked a tad uneasy to say the least in a johnsons paint tie type atmosphere.

I was reminded of this during the national anthems. Very similar.

It's utterly meaningless anyway.

Looking at the pictures (on the BBC website), a lot of the local 'media and delegates' seem to have managed to get into the ground. I've seen stadiums more sparsely populated on Goals Express!

Listening to 5Live and it's brilliant !!!! John Murray can't do his usual screaming nasal whines … he sounds more like he's commenting on a royal wedding.

International football doesn't get more dire than this. 35 minutes in neither keeper's had a save to make.

75 delegates per team permitted.

I just wonder if anyone does score in this game, will the goalscorer do a full goal celebration or just not bother and just jog back

I once hired a car in Rijeka and drove down the coast. This dull fact is nevertheless more interesting than the game tonight. More interestingly, we bumped into Big Phil Scolari on holiday in the tiny resort of Vinisce.

Some of you cynics on this thread obviously didn't watch our home games at pissfilled. The Donny Fans United 2 was a particular classic. You could sit quietly listning to radio three on the transistor and not be bothered by the fellow sitting nearest to you (several yards away).

*cough* fans banned tonight *cough*

FFS

But it does sound a bit shit on R5.

This. Dunk debut or not, I am boycotting the whole sorry shebang.

I've got no choice. International matches are supposed to be on terrestial tv, but grabbed by Sky because the qualifiers have a different format/name.

We drove a fat back wheeled, black Ford Escort down that coast from Newhaven to Athens in 1981. Dumped it there. Dull fact but great fun. Is Dunk on yet?
