Dan Burn, who we signed injured in August, came off the bench for Wigan today.

Good news.

(Let’s ignore that he conceded a clumsy pen and scored an own goal...)

12 against 10 is the only way Walton can be beaten, which, despite his excessive height, is encouraging.

Come on, I think we all know he's not very good. His performance yesterday was not necessarily out of keeping with his level of quality. It's a bizarre signing which really is yet to be justified. Are we trying to cheer up Wigan before attempting to signing Powell? If so, we've allowed them a top quality goalkeeper on loan for 2 years, what more do we need to do?! Taking Burn off their hands is outrageous.

Up there with one of the most bizarre signings a long with Chris o Grady. He won’t ever play for us or be named in a prem squad.

I've never seen him play. In fact, I'd never even heard of him until we bought him in the summer and lent him back. So is it OK if I join with others on here and say he's sh*t, a bizarre signing, a rush of blood to the head by Winstanley, and that I hope he never ever gets a game for our first team as that would be a disaster?
