Yaya Touré is on the verge of signing for a new club following his release from Manchester City at the end of last season.

His agent has tweeted:

For Tapatalk users: "Toure @YayaToure has passed a medical in London. Yaya is close to signing a new contract."

Now he could quite happily do a medical in London and sign for a club a thousand miles away but it did get me thinking... Yaya to Palace?

He's unfit, past his prime, and commands huge wages. That's basically the holy trinity for them up the road, isn't it?
