Football - school, B team in my 'house' - and that was only because I made a pain of myself and begged.

Back to the armchair....

In a lot of these cases "selected" means "we don't have enough players".

Rape of Hastings, Sussex
Football (Primary School and clubs), Cricket (Primary School and clubs) , Swimming (Primary School and my Cub pack) Rugby Union (Both 7s and 1st XV for my secondary school) and the one I'm still most proud of - Sussex's national sport of Stoolball at Primary School.

Football, for school, Uni, and myriad adult sides. And Albion REMF, at Lewes and the Amex, which was fun.
Cricket, for school, Uni, adult teams up to and including Lancashire League standard
Squash, for school and club
Swimming, for school
Athletics (specifically 800m and 1500m) county schools
Rugby, for school under duress - hated it
Darts, for cricket club team - purely to make up the numbers for a couple of fixtures. I’m shit
Snooker, as for darts!
Stoolball, for my Mum’s works team, as a kid

I haven’t been selected for anything but I have qualified for, and run, the Boston marathon. Apart from a few local running clubs who get free entry, and aside from the year after the bombing, you need a qualifying time to participate.
