With the evenings getting darker now why don't the police sit at a junction along Lewes Road, somewhere between Elm Grove and Falmer, and fine every cyclist who 1/ has no lights and 2/ jumps a red light. They could make a fortune.

You could sit at the junction of Old Shoreham Road and Boundary Road and fine every driver that 1/ is on the phone 2/ jumping the lights; actually make a fortune AND catch someone who is more likely to kill someone else...
