Not a chance in a million years that Bissouma will start this game. Want to tighten up the game? Bring on Kayal for Gross. Chasing the game? Probably bring on Bissouma for Propper.

Of course the excitement would be to see Bissouma start but we are facing Sanchez, Pogba, Mata etc. These players drift into pockets of space. The key to this game will be shape and discipline.

Kayal, however, would have a case if CH felt we needed that one specialist battler in there.

A bench of Bissouma, Solly (if replaced with AJ) and Locadia seems logical.

Don't think you can give wake up calls game 2 . Sends out the wrong signals.

Stick faith with the same team but bring in Montoya for Bruno and start Jahankabash over March.

No need wholesale changes. We are a different side at home.
Why not? Were you at Watford? If you were then you know that that starting 11 was not good enough and there should be a number of changes. Watford was the perfect opportunity for the old guard to stake their claim to be picked on Sunday. A lot of them blew it.

All these NSCers suggesting that Bernado should keep his place! What are you on?? The worst display by a player in an Albion shirt for many a long moon, and you're suggesting he keeps his place?? We've got two other perfectly adequate left backs.

So your first League appearance for your new team changes twenty minutes in when you’re forced to play very much not on your preferred side in a team you’ve played very little for. Oh and the person who replaced you at left back didn’t pull up any trees either oh and the second back up you mention didn’t even travel with the team let alone make the 18. Yeah. Good one.

What I saw was a competent footballer with pace adjusting to new environs and coping well on his preferred side, with that going out the window so early I’m very much prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt.

He was shocking a LB before switching. I hadn't noticed Bruno down injured and when I saw a sub being made ready I was sure it was going to be Bong for Bernado with Hughton having decided on a damage-limitation substitution half way through the first half. Which would have made absolute sense. I watched MOTD last night and he was very much culpable for the second goal along with Knockaert and possibly Duffy. Maybe he will come good, but in my opinion we cannot afford to have him in the team while he learns how to tackle and how to pass the ball.

Meh. We are just rubbish away. We need to be shaken up away but no point in changing anything at home yet.

That is wrong as he wasnt but what he does look for is a player to play a one two with and March wasnt available.

The same could be said for Alireza Jahanbakhsh starting? Although is peripheral wing position may not be so important. Bissouma for Solly or Knocky for me. 4-3-3 (notionally) like last season.

This may be controversial but from behind the goal Sat it looked like the first half was about even. Glen nearly got 2 headers and fakes shot looked certain to go in. Second half they bossed us. They were stronger and quicker.
I came away wondering why so many had them down for relegation and what had happened to our beefing up in pre season. Don't despair yet.

I think Watford exposed our weaknesses to the max - Murray and Gross slow, Bruno old, central midfield not creative enough.

I'd like to see Ryan - Montoya - Bernardo - Duffy - Dunk - Bissouma - Propper - Gross - Izquierdo - Ali J - Locadia.

Re Stephens - I think he was lucky not to get sent off on Saturday and I'd like to see Bissouma given a start.

Mine would be;

------------------------Ryan------------------------
Montoya-----Duffy-----Dunk--------Bernardo
--------------------Stephens-----------------------
Jahanbakhsh--Gross-Bissouma--Knockeart
----------------------Murray-----------------------

Ryan

Montoya
Duffy
Dunk
Bernardo

Bissouma
Propper
Stephens

AJ
Gross

Murray

Bearing how much Knocky and March tucked in on Saturday better off playing 3 central midfielders so we don’t get over run and let Gross and AJ drift wide when required (Gross does that pretty much anyway at home)

I thinkwill Chris go out to beat Utd? I doubt it. I think he will try and control the game rather than have a go...and I think we’ll get battered.
