Rewarded for sticking it out through the weather with a wonderful display of English swing and seam bowling.

Tomorrow promises to be sunny and 23 degrees so I fully expect England to capit... sorry collapse... and make a game of it for Sunday when the rain returns.

I however will be at Vicarage Road cheering on the stripes.

I wonder how much the introduction of Sunday into Test cricket helped that. Rest days still remain a bizarre concept. Pretty sure the first occasion was at Old Trafford in the 1981 Ashes series. The day of Botham's big 100.

Cook got a good ball but Jennings played around a straight one - disappointing.
