BRIGHTON HOLD McGINN TALKS

Sky sources understand Brighton and Hibernian have held talks regarding midfielder John McGinn.

The Scotland international scored for Hibernian in the Europa League qualifier in Greece last night.

Celtic have had two bids rejected already this summer for McGinn

Aged 23, nearly 24, Scottish international (not that that says very much). Nickname: The Chin.

Presumably because he doesn't really have one?

McGin The Chin.

I like it. Celtic have had two bids turned down for him.

I really think that song should be reserved for Gareth Southgate. No doubt clubs will adopt it and adapt it for their own managers/players but I'm not a fan. It's Gareth's, leave it be.

Or because he used to be a boxer but was easily knocked out?

I had no idea Southgate had a song to Atomic Kittens greatest hit.

I'll work on something else.

Too late my friend, you have been narrowly beaten by another thread. McGinn wouldn't qualify as a HGP anyway, as played his whole career thus far in Scotland
