The club survey did ask the question but it was optional. Maybe people filled it out. I assume every club does a survey.

I was about to reply saying what an utter load of nonsense this must be and then I read this line: "It found loyal Crystal Palace fans were the most likely to be unemployed" which leads me to believe it is, in fact, highly accurate.

This could be just the problem with averages. There's the example that Jack Dorsey (founder of twitter) used to get the bus to work every day, so the "average" net worth of people on that bus was $10M. In this case, maybe they've just included Uncle Tony, as unlike most chairmen/owners, he is also a fan...

I find it hard to believe that West Ham United fans would be so low in that table.
