Millwall’s best and most threatening player on the night. Terrific performance. Linked well with McLaughlin and got into some great positions early on, but his crossing was inconsistent. That changed when he and Ferguson switched wings and put in some dangerous balls that Millwall were unable to take advantage of. Was much more involved in the second-half and his hard work was rewarded when he produced an excellent cross for Gregory to head home Millwall’s equaliser. 8

So he'll be off (to Rotherham?) for nothing next season. Hope we didn't pay too much for him, but I suppose it's inevitable that even our excellent recruitment team occasionally takes a punt that doesn't come off.

We have an option on a further year on his contract, which we can activate, and so get a fee if we want.

I thought I heard/read somewhere that we were after a fee (for a permanent transfer) from Rotherham this summer? If so, presumably Rotherham played the 'haven't-got-a-pot-to-piss-in' ploy and it worked for them.
